Kaytlin loves her PINK!

Their Persians were too cute not to get in on the photo action!

Josh & Tara

I had the privilege of taking one of my closest friend's photos recently. Not one to be photographed; her hubby Josh was gracious enough to come along, LOL! We kept it simple but fun. Here are just a few of my favs.

The Sorbe Clan ' 09 ... It keeps growing!

It was a lovely fall day...I'm a photographer and so I must be sure to photograph my family in the same way I would for others; reminding myself that I don't want to be that shoemaker who's family has no shoes!

So out we went...cameras and tripod in hand. We had some fun - took some great shots - made memories - Documentation of Sorbe Clan 2009, check!

The eldest...and the wisest (so she will tell you).

The middle...soon to be bumped to 2nd in command...and our comedian
Was the baby...now dubbed 'Mommy's big boy helper because babies are too little to help mommy'...praying that helps as we transition out of diapers and into big boy pants before Jr arrives...but we're not going to sweat it either way.

Another boy on the way to even things out...(Our eldest, and aspiring photographer took this photo)

Molly's lil' Family

Molly, you are so beautiful inside and out! So thankful you allowed me to photograph your sweet family! I smiled as I went through each photo of you and your children...

I wanted to give a big THANK YOU as well to Joann and Don Neuenschwander who own The Old Railroad Inn B&B in Jackson, MN; that allowed us to use their newly painted 'old' barn/shed for our background! [If you want more information about their B&B you can contact them at 1.888.844.5348]

Don't Think Traditional - Get out of the box!

How many times have you done fun things with your kids that you knew they would remember forever?! Except that since you're in the moment with them...there is no one to "capture" that moment on film for you so you can look back on those really special day(s).

Since I LOVE to take photos...I take photos of my family a lot...but rarely is there someone to take pictures of me enjoying the moment WITH them! So, I improvise. My son and I love to make cookies together. So the other day, I set up my camera, used the timer, and took pics of me and him doing something that we love to do together. From those images, I made a 10x30 sign that now hangs in my kitchen! TRUE WALL ART!!

I love truth...reality...realness. So that is what I enjoy the most in capturing in your family's photos. I encourage those of you who have never thought of taking photos of your REAL life, to give me a call and let me help you get some REAL [FUN] photos of you and your family!
